When and where is Spellbound in Seattle?
-Spellbound in Seattle is taking place September 3-6, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington.
How old do I have to be to attend the event?
-You have to be 18+ by September 3, 2026 to attend the convention and panels. You have to be 21+ by September 3, 2026 to attend the rest of the event.
Where can I purchase tickets?
-Tickets can be found here starting June 15, 2025!
Is there a room block?
-There is, however it won’t go live until 1 year out from the event. We will post room block information as soon as we get it!
Is there a dress code for the event?
–We want you to be authentically you throughout the weekend. While we encourage our guests to dress up for the ball and to wear cosplay to the Prologue Party, we want you to be comfortable. *Please note, weapons of any kind whether real or fake will not be allowed at the events for safety reasons.
Can I bring my own books?
-Absolutely!
Can I purchase books at the event?
-Absolutely! Most of our authors will have their books available for purchase at their table, however we will also have a bookseller on site to purchase books!
Is there a limit to how many books an author will sign?
–We have a 5 book limit before needing to get back in line to allow for all guests to get their books signed, however it is up to each individual author their preference.
Is the lineup set?
-Our lineup is always changing. While it is currently set, all of those who attend Spellbound have lives outside of the event, and sometimes that leads them to needing to drop out. Nobody ever wants this, but we cannot control life and what it throws at us sometimes. Please be gracious to any authors who do need to drop out and respect that they do not make those decisions lightly.
Will there be ADA accommodations?
–Yes! Please reach out to us at spellboundinseattle@gmail.com and let us know how we can assist to make sure your weekend is as smooth as possible! We want this to be a weekend FOR you! There will also be an early access ADA shopping window each day of the convention. Whether you have health complications or social anxiety in crowds, please feel free to use this time to shop stress free. Our team is available to assist however you need, no questions asked!
I am no longer able to attend, can I get a refund?
-We are unable to offer refunds for tickets. Please see our Refund Policy for a full breakdown . We will have a ticket resale thread on our Facebook Group where you can post your tickets for others to purchase!
