Spellbound in Seattle is an annual Book Convention located in the PNW. Started between two friends in a book club, our goal is to blur the lines between Readers and Authors, fostering community while celebrating our favorite books and love for reading.
Join us each year in Seattle, WA where you’ll come for the books and you’ll stay for the stories!
Meet the team
Kodie Dorman
Hello friends, my name is Kodie! I have had a love for books since I could read words on a page, and have become a master at avoiding awkward family holidays by getting lost in stories. I am a crafter of all and a completer of none, with a neurospicy brain that can take me on all the tangents. And finally, I am happily married with 3 precious kiddos whom I love with everything I am.
*If you would like to know what animal I would be if I could choose, the answer is a Giant Panda who lives in a sanctuary. Thank you.
Tessa Stensaas
Hello literary lovers! I am originally from a small town in the middle of nowhere, Montana. Both of my parents are avid readers, and if you put that all together, it fostered my love for escaping into the world of books. This is why I ultimately pursued a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Business Administration, hoping to work in publishing. Over time, that dream has shifted toward pursuing law school to specialize in Intellectual Property Law, with the goal of still working in publishing.
The reading community has introduced me to some of the best people in my life and helped me form lifelong connections. I can’t wait to help the community I hold dear find lifelong connections like I have. Turn the page on your best chapter yet with us at Spellbound in Seattle!
